For a very long time, the world of perfumes was distinctly divided by gender. Fragrances labeled “For Men” “For Him” or “Homme” tends to feature musky, woody or leather notes, while those described as “For Women”, “For Her” or “Femme” feature floral and/or fruity essence, encased in an ornate bottles.
But in today’s world, where gender disparity continues to diminish, fragrance brands and houses are gradually dropping these gender stereotypes, creating unisex fragrances featuring notes that cannot be classified as feminine or masculine.

A warm, romantic and evocative unisex fragrance by Creed, launched in 1995. A citrus marine scent which opens with fruity notes and sea salt. At the heart lies, the floral scent of iris and the citrus grove of Sicilian lemon, bergamot, and mandarin orange. At the base lies, musk, woody notes and sea notes.
8. Gucci Oud
Gucci OUD also known as Gucci Ambre was launched in 2014. This oud-oriental unisex scent is opulent, glamorous, rich, intense and mysterious. The composition contains raspberry, pear and saffron as the opening accord; the heart captures the essence of Bulgarian rose and orange blossom; followed by the oriental accord of oud, patchouli, amber and musk at the base.

This is another one from Tom Ford, launched in 2006. This oriental fragrance is rich, luxurious, opulent, classically dark, spicy and sensual. It opens with floral and citruses accord of jasmine, gardenia, black truffle, bergamot, ylang-ylang, lemon, mandarin orange and blackcurrant. 10. Tom Ford Ombré Leather
This is yet another leathery unisex perfume from Tom Ford. Ombré Leather is a new fragrance launched in 2018. It opens with cardamom; jasmine sambac and leather lie at the center; followed by patchouli, amber and moss at the base. A fragrance that makes you feel sexy and irresistible.
